In response to many requests........
This presentation regards dyslexia not as a disability but as a specific need and a gift which requires certain interventions, affordances and differentiated activities based on multisensory education strategies. The condition will be defined, dissected and debugged so that teachers can re-assess their understanding and move on to reach out and engage their dyslexic students in reading, writing and studying in English. There will be some theory and lots of practical suggestions for teachers to become more confident in including these students in their regular practices in the English language classroom.
