Sunday Sessions with Susan 3/21 Making Visible the Invisible and Giving Voice to the Voiceless

Many of our students feel they go unnoticed in our real classrooms or on our virtual Zoom classes. So HOW can we give them the right conditions to be seen and heard by us and by others? Sir Ken Robinson gave us many clues to help us do just this. I will try to unpack these ideas and help you become a teacher who DOES really help her students BLOSSOM in the classroom. Sir Ken Robinson said "Education is the key to the future but a key can lock resources away or release resources and give people back to themselves." This participatory and interactive virtual webinar will question traditional, non-interactive, individualistic, competitive, arts-bare pedagogic practices. We will explore ways in which organizations can hold on to the natural holistic play patterns of young children and extend them into adolescence and adult life in order to make visible the invisible and give voice to the voiceless. We will look at a little theory and try out lots of practices to release those elements of the body, mind and soul that traditional education has locked away. Date~Sunday, 6th June 2021 starting at 11am ART/3pm BST New and different topics will be offered every first Sunday of every month. Check your time here: https://tinyurl.com/4bfw2n3h
